Here are a few value prices stallion prospects that have been on my mind latley & my brief thoughts & please feel free to share your opinions as well
Kentucky
Medallist: $8,500 Brilliant speed & from the right sire line IMO. His dam was G1 placed & his pedigree is Mr P free which opens many doors. His front end would be the only concern as I have not seen him in the flesh.
Canadian Frontier: While not a complete standout he was a very nice & fast racehorse. He def has the pedigree is by by Gone West & out of a multiple G2 & versitile Seattle Slew mare. He seems like a very nice individual from what I have seen of him. I could not but think a nice Strawberry Road mare in thinking of possiable mares for him.
Flordia
True Direction: $3,000 Another grandson of Deputy Minister via a personal fav of min in French Deputy. TR had amazing speed in going 7 & change & earning a 116 beyer at Belmont. His dam is rather boring but female family is not too bad. He fits on ability & I just like his sire even though as a sire of sires is a gamble
Louisiana
Erlton: $1,500 In a fast growing but still very weak stallion market. He had two colts in last weeks Texas 2 year old sale go for 20k & 65k. I have seen quiet a few colts by him that were lookers. Erlton holds the track record at Delaware for 4.5 furlongs in winning by 11 that day. He is by Buckaroo who has successful speed sire Montbrook to his credit & is out of a Deputy Minister mare. There is alot of angles to play on this guy in that stud fee range.
