No announced fee yet, I would expect 10k but I have underestimated in coming stud fees before. I was rather suppurised as I expected him to go to Flordia. Thoughts?
Don't see why you'd expect him to go to Florida. 3 graded stakes wins (2 of them at age 2 which you know they love), a KY prospect til he got hurt, a GSW or place in 3 years of training (even if that's a huge joke cuz he wasn't sound or ready to race for a huge chunk of that--don't think they won't mention the 3 years thing though), and a son of Unbridled's Song. They'll give him a shot for sure, esp. since he showed precocity.
Less talented horses have gone to stud on fewer credentials and for a higher fee than $10,000 (not to say they've earned it, that's just what people got charged--not sure what his pedigree demands though. Others are better at eyeballing that than me). As to how sound the offspring will be, who the heck knows...I'm hoping for Rocky's and all our sakes that it was lots of bad luck instead.
