Sad, yes. But I am sure he will sire some good horses in Argentina. Breeders will be attracted to his pedigree.

Dang, I just sold one of his daughters. I have another one, though. I adore the damside of his pedigree and think there is huge potential for his daughters as broodmares.

The two Distant View daughters I have/had are quiet, sane, lovely mares.

As long as everyone is rushing to the newest off-the-track stallions, the market will be thin for the older, established horses. That said, I think perhaps $15K was a bit steep for Distant View.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

That's a shame. I really like him, although he's grown increasingly crooked in the front. But, he doesn't seem to pass that on overwhelmingly, either. He'll probably do extremely well down there, but I hope he returns to the US for the NH breeding season.

Well maybe he'll be more appreciated down there. Silly how people flock to unproven sires for 10X the fees...
