Adena Springs Broodmare

I thought that mares sold in foal at the Adena broodmare sale all sold with free breed backs? Is this true? I checked the catalog and didn't see anything listed.....Thanks. :shock:

I was disappointed to see that as well. I thought that made the sale very interesting in the past. The breedbacks were normally to a choice of 2 of the newer standing stallions. I guess it wasn't making sense from a business standpoint, but it seemed like a great way to promote the new studs.

So, it's definitely gone, huh.

Yeah, I found that to be the ONLY reason I would trek down to KY to buy a broodmare. If you're on a budget, it was a great value!
