Re: Hip No 845, Keeneland September 2007 - $1,000 c Forestry/Tour
Thing must of had 2 legs to sell for 1K
There was a 4-yo Forestry colt (named Hooper) that broke his maiden today (9/13/07) for a $10,000 tag, at Presque Isle.

He shows as being sold by Taylor Made Sales Agency, Agent, for $425,000 at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select-August 2004. What must he have looked like?

My guess was he looked good and vetted clean in 04 thus the 425K price. Then came the problems and his inability to run fast enough tus the drop to 10K maiden claimers

Or Scots Pine, an '03 Forestry colt out of Miss Valid Pache. Purchased as a yearling by Darley for $275,000 from the '04 Keeneland September sale. Then purchased privately in a package by Swift Tbs. who race at Hastings Park. Scots Pine ran 4th and was claimed this past Sunday (Sept.9) at Hastings for a wopping price of $8,000.
He's quite lovely. And has plenty of problems.
