The quality horses sold and sold well, everyone else lost money. The sales topping mares (#'s 65 and 177) were both very nice looking mares. If I am going to spend $35,000 I think I would rather spend it in Kentucky
I noticed that overall there were alot of No Bids especially non pregnant mares. Weanlings sold well yesterday on average, the correct ones sold very well (there weren't too many of them). There were a few that were terribly crooked and still sold half decent? I bought a couple in partnership and I don't think we will even get them out of the sales ground today as I believe there are not many vanning companies braving the terrible weather. At least all the snow puts you in a Christmas spirit
Maureen - the Itty Bitty Slew mare was an RNA at $20,000.
