I wouldnt be surprised to see him become a very nice broodmare sire. Anything Myrtlewood-line deserves some attention in that regard and I think Storm Cat blood also screams "broodie".
I personally like to see stamina-oriented stallions when im looking at future broodmare sires, but thats just a personal preference on my end. Im banking on Aptitude and Mizzen Mast to turn out to be great broodmare sires.

I think one of the great mysteries of life is why Northern Dancer never sired a mare that foaled a top sire. Aptitude might become the exception, but the odds are really stacked against him. Can anyone think of a successful sire that was out of a Northern Dancer mare?
With that in mind, I'm not crazy about Storm Cat, Forestry, Giant's Causeway, or any of that branch becoming successful as far as their females foaling future stallions. They will no doubt foal their share of runners, but I think that's where it ends with that line on the bottom.

Call me nuts, but I think they will make better broodmare sires than sires. At least I am hoping they do
