Hi guys - plan on seeing the little lady this week when I go down to the FT sale. Talked to the farm this week and they said she was very mature for her age and smart and was looking great. She said she was very pleased with how she was looking and hoped I was going to be to! Can't wait to see her. She also said she was dying to name her :) I said we called her McTapit at our farm and she said they'd been calling her The Grey Goose or Goose for short  Said she had a lovely neck and head and profile ;)

I'll post pictures when I see her.

Saw her today at the sale and I liked her very much. I'd put her in the top 20 hips tomorrow. Good luck!

Hi Ill-bred - wasn't mine you saw :( But I'm glad you think the Tapit's look nice  She'll be in the September KEE yearling sale.

Saw her today at the farm and I couldn't believe it was the same horse we shipped off. She looked great (or at least I thought she did) and she no longer had that WILD devil-eyed look in her eyes.

Saw a few at the sales today - will see more tomorrow when I have time!

Oops.

I actually saw a gray Tapit colt at Taylor Made (out of Nascat) and thought he was your's!

Doh!

Well, I'll look for your's in September. ;-)

The Tapit-Nascat sold for $190,000 to Bear Stables.

Amongst freshman sires, I thought Lion Heart, Medagalia d'Oro, and Domestic Dispute had good days.

Ill-bred - the sales were all over today - went down to see the Tapit filly (she is doing great by the way ;) - and I was surprised by some of the sale results - WOW on a couple of the Lion Hearts!! I wanted to see hip 216 as we were co-breeder on him and sold him last November - but alas he was an "out" - don't know why :? I was pleased with the Even the Score's and the Cuvee's (especially since I have one of each ;) And I need to look more closely at the Toccets to see how they did.

Were you at the sales?

Tapit and Strong Hope have also done very well...

There's a great More Than Ready selling today - #456 (out of Secretly, by Secretariat).

I'll also be interested to see what #434 brings (Pleasant Tap--Queen Marge, by Grindstone)

The Friend's Lake's are doing better than I thought they would.

Im hearing GREAT things about the Even the Score's from someone I really respect.

As it stands, you have Giant's Causeway and Posse making noise on the track and Even the Score looking good with his yearlings... what do they all have in common? All are out of Rahy mares.

When I saw how well they were selling I went to Mill. Farm consignment area and was teasing Maggie - I said "do we expect his stud fee to go up?" I'm glad for them that he did so well (well, and for me too ;)

Hope my Even the Score does well. He's such a firecracker right now - acts like his mother - full of spit and vinegar.

While at the FT sale I stopped by the farm where the Tapit filly is and took a few pics of her. If all goes well (x-rays, scopes, etc...) she'll be heading to the September Keeneland sale. She'll begin working out a bit harder now and tucking up some hopefully ;)

We woke her up from her afternoon nap to bring her out so I could see her :)

Cheryl, she's looking really nice! And as you know the Tapits have been a big hit so far. I hope you do great with her. Do you know what book she's in yet?
