Thank you FancyHorse for posting this listing. I originally posted it a few months ago on the usual web horse sales sites. I didn't know about this board, or I would have put it up here too!

However, these two fillies found homes already. I left the listing up on equine.com because I work at Monmouth and Philadelphia Park as a horse massage therapist and I always have "clients" who are available for free or a nominal sum. Right now, I know of a 5 year old mare who is recovering from a small bow who needs a home. She'd be a good riding horse (someday) but she is a little hot. She's at the beginning of her third month of a layup, so she should be good to start working with soon.

I also have a gelding who fractured his ankle pretty badly. We have him laid up now, too. He needs 2 more weeks in a stall, then he can walk for a week, then he can be turned out for about 8 to 10 months. He's gorgeous and sweet and could be a nice riding horse someday.

I was just told of another gelding who needs some turnout but could be fine after that. I forget the problem exactly.

There are always horses available. The Monmouth meet is over at the end of this month, so a lot of horses will need homes. If they haven't worked out at Monmouth, most trainers try to ditch them before they go to Meadowlands, NY or FL. If you are looking for something specific, let me know and I'll try to find it for you.
