So cool! And the price of his half-brother got Rocking Trick a mention in Bloodhorse.com!

Here's the isolated pic of little brother in the sales ring: http://www.bloodhorse.com/images/conten ... p970AE.jpg

Hey Madelyn;

You ought to contact the Sheakh and tell him about Rocking Trick since he didn't win his brother. He might offer you a big price you can't refuse, lol.

If Rocky was a weanling, I might have a prayer.. I think the Sheikh was looking for racing stock, not a nine year old stallion.

I thought the Pulpit colt that sold for 1.3m is a half brother to Rocking Trick, not out of a half sister.

WOW!!!! Madeline - glad my name and my farm name is on the card that pulled him out for you to photograph! Good for you! I am always excited when someone has a horse, or a half, or whatever go through the sale and do well! How exciting for you! AND the pics will look wonderful, along with the article in Rocky's family album. It was great spending the afternoon with you.

Thanks! Ditto it was great to meet you. I was thinking the same as Taylor Made, $600K.. I was just stunned.

Hopefully it will help the prices on the colts I take to the sale next winter.
