A most unusual catalog by American standards. After a one day yearling sale, two days of weanlings pass through the ring. Their dams accompany them but are not included in the bidding. One excellent feature of the catalog is the photo gallery of virtually all horses entered in the sale.
Like Australian yearling catalogs, which are dominated by the sons and grandsons of DANEHILL, the Japan catalog overflows with young horses by Sunday Silence's sons and grandsons. A few other U.S. stallions, like AFLEET, FRENCH DEPUTY, SWEPT OVERBOARD, ROSES IN MAY, FORTY NINER and TWINING are also represented in it.
