The listed purchaser is Ballyvouvgal Stables. Anyone know who that is?

Did you do a websearch on them? I do that on all the folks who buy my horses - sometimes I get info on them. I also get their address from the consignor and send them thank you letters. I've already corresponded via e-mail with the new owners of African Skyline :) Sounds like she's gone to a good home.

I did... I'm wondering if there might be a typo on the name though.

It could easily be Ballyroyal. People tend to scrawl on sales slips.

When I called Keeneland today, the rep told me that it was actually Dennis Quinn from Ireland. Anyone know that name? I searched Google and found he bought a Royal Academy earlier this year.

Well then I imagine it IS Ballyroyal. Looks like she is off to Ireland.

bumping this up with more info.... the mare foaled a bay Andromeda's Hero filly (would have been my 2nd!) on Leap Year Feb 29, 2008. Listed breeder is J.R. Mitchell (GB).

Of interest, mare went through both Goffs and Tattersalls .... but i see no record of a sale.

The only J. R. Mitchell i can find was breeding in the early 1980s.
