Alright...I'm kind of confused. Is hip 266 really a last cover of October 3rd? I wonder what's going on with that...Perhaps a test breeding for a new sire (Andromeda's Hero)? I think the consignor posts here occasionally. Would be interested to see what's going on. The other aspect of this is, why is this a book 1 offering? Not asking in order to be disparaging, but something seems odd here.

southern hemisphere breeding date. To attract the breeders "down under".
There season kind of took a turn for the worst with the outbreak, so maybe they would travel to keeneland to buy some mares

Perhaps she was bred for a Southern Hemisphere buyer and the deal fell through?
Another interesting breeding is hip #237, a colt by Stormy Atlantic out of a mare who brings nothing to the table. Can you see overbreeding in this mating? What were they thinking?

Thank you. I was obviously wearing parochial blinkers. Agreed on the 237, but the thought of a Pa bred Stormy Atlantic must have taken hold and snowballed. In this game it is easy to raise your expectations a few notches and then accept those raised expectations as the baseline.
