Ocala farms to visit and other places to go

Postby Toccet02 » Mon Feb 04, 2008 2:23 pm

Have a buddy who want to go to Ocala for the sale on the 12th---but also will be there a few days before.
I thought I'd ask on her behalf about guest-friendly Ocala t bred farms, and places to go in the area for general touristy fun stuff. She likes tennis and is interested in a large lake in the area too.
Many thanks for any replies!

*bump* anybody?
I know I/she can research farms that are there, but I was hoping for any recommendations of especially good/friendly farms. The kind that won't lose your horse or sick the guard dogs on you.
Thanks!

I liked Ocala Stud and Bridlewood. As for place to board a broodmare, we used Tara Farm and had a good experience.
