Check out hip # 291, she's from the foundation mare of the farm I managed for 10 years.
I recommended the Majesty's Prince/Torelia breeding and a few others out of different mares for the farm owner. I consulted on every breeding in the 10 years.
I'd love to have her but I know he want's more than 50k for her, way out of my price range.............

If this sale is anything like last years, he may soften up on his price considerably after watching the first couple hundred take a beating. If you like the family, go for it!

Yeah - we're hips 44 & 275 - among the first couple hundred to take a beating that Cathy D mentioned . . .

Good luck to anyone who's selling! Based on what's currently happening at Keeneland, it looks like the F-T sale is probably going to be pretty tough too.

This might be arse backward logic, but I would think that by not having a gazillion other horses over a decade of days (not slamming KEE but good lord!! lol) there should be the chances for an improved sale price. Yes I realize Kee is the place that nets a million more than a few times, but for me as a potential buyer it was overload even on stallions and families I liked. Not to mention if I were to make a short list on yearlings I liked as physical specimen, my 'short' list would be pages long! It was a buyers market for sure I think. I personally expect the FT to be a tad less accomodating, but I also claim to know very little on the sales end of things!!
Cute names, Duckzilla is great!! I'll have to swing by and see the girls! Good luck !!

Ah, what else would you name a BIG girl by DUCKhorn out of MiribILLA, who has a 'D'you know who my mama is????" attitude?
Drop by & introduce yourself to my husband [Bill] or me, if I'm there.

Will do. I'll probably be there late-morning and all afternoon on Saturday and, of course, on Monday when my colt sells.

I'll be there Monday for sure. If you see a wide eyed goofball in a WVU baseballcap it'll be me !! Oh I'll probably be drooling too, try to ignore that!!

Yearlings in Ft Sale

I have two yearlings in the sale, They actually ship from LA at 3:00am. I have hip number 7, yea, what a place to be, but she is a really nice racey looking filly. We also have hip #533, she a big girl and gorgeous with a really good pedigree. If anyone previews them let me know.
I wish I could have gone to the sale but have to go to FL for the OBS sale next week, That would have exhausted me. I also had to be here in LA to buy one at the LA sale. can't be in 2 places at once.
For anybody going to the Fasig Tipton Sale

Hi,
If anybody going there has the time to look at Hip #219, I would appreciate it. We are unable to attend the sale, but really like the K One Kings. We bought one at Texas FT and kicked our own booties for not buying another one.
Just ask if he has a clean x ray and scope. Any thoughts you might have about conformation and attitude would also be appreciated. K One Kings are not fashionable or commercial so we can afford them.
I can be reached at (800) 895-3332 or email to
[email protected]
Thanks
