At the Tattersalls site you can already view the entries for the 2yo Craven Breeze up Sales. I looked at the catalogue and was wondering, why are there so many American bred horses in it?
This is not once, happened many times before.
Opinions please!!
Thanks, Erin

People sell horses wherever they think they can get the most money for them. Potential rate of return is more important than country of origin.

I would guess most of them were bought at the Keeneland September yearling sale for the purpose of pinhooking.

I have a mare who has a foal in this sale and another mare who's the 2nd dam of another in the sale. Not my foals though.

There are a lot of agents involved so I guess it is pinhooking.
Busanda: I might go and if you like I can make pictures. Let you know in due course.
