I notice BC3, who has been prominent in yearling sales, as well as the 2yo sales in CA doesn't have any horses in the October Yearling Sale at Barrett's.
Have they changed paths?

Without casting stones, some buyers and sellers are rumored to have reported less than favorable experiences with them in terms of durability and performance. Yet, they have had some horses that have gone on and done very well.
That may be part of the issue in the change of venue.

That's true of almost all the two year old in training consignors though. You'd think Brother Derek would keep them going for awhile. Murray Smith is still mentioning Monarchos in her ads.

Sysonby,
You make an excellent point. And, now I see Murry Smith is moving her operation to CA, and is putting together partnerships - something she avoided in the past.
I wonder how that will go? I wish her all success.
