Well- the results were not as bad as they might have been, but nothing to cheer about either. We need changes in Texas racing for this sale to meet it's potential. It is still a buyer's market.

This sale is a lot like Timonium, MD some years back when NY started their big program, only here it's LA breds. Back then Timonium had a couple NY breds worth owning that would top the sale and inflate numbers and a bunch of rejects that people bought because they were "NY Breds". The MD bred horses were few because there was no incentive to breed, own or race them. This is exactly the same except the State names changed. Unless TX does something, they might as well hold this at LA Downs.
