Wild Fit Sells For $3 Million

Saw it on TVG. I was figuring $3-$5 mil. At least I'm getting a little closer on my assessments.
Now $3 million for this filly I can certainly understand. A huge gamble but it just could pay off big time. $3 million for the next filly to win the Kentucky Derby....or $3 million for just another talented 2YO?
Time will tell.

hi ZiaLand...hello austique
All things considered...I believe that Wild Fit was a very good buy at $3mil.
I felt that she was a $3mil to $4mil filly...right now.
I look forward to seeing which trainer they send her to.

Oh I think she was well worth the money. I'm just a tad disappointed the Evil Empire ended up with her. She looked to be a big, good-looking filly.

hi austique
As I added...I look forward to seeing who they send her to...
...Wild Fit is a TOP filly (the cream) and deserves the best opportunity.

Wild Fit is going to Patrick Biancone.

hi ageecee
My initial reaction to Patrick Biancone being selected (as you indicated) as the trainer of choice for Wild Fit (subsequent to her $3mil purchase at Fasig) is tepid.
Wild Fit is VERY special (in my opinion)...and I hope that trainer Biancone is up to the task to train and manage a TOP filly that thrives on the dirt, and seems to be a perfect candidate to go well beyond a mile and an eighth...against TOP competition...possibly including the boys.
Biancone might be just fine...I hope he is, for Wild Fit's sake.

Ditto. Biancone drives me nuts. Although she overcame Jeff "milkshake" Mullins training.

Starry Ice is something to dream about....
Can't wait till tomorrow... one of my K-mart mares has a very "like" her going thru... hip #404 in foal to Forestry so take off the $75K stud fee and.. what is my girl worth?
My Boston Harbor mare has a nicer page than Boston Nova that RNA'd at $190K in foal to Forestry also..
There seem to be an awful lot of "in foal to Forestry"'s here... was his book all mares "bought" for him to be sold in foal?
