I just had to share so thanks to everyone for their kindness. Lenny has been and is a joy to have around. He is fearless and inquisitive and I hope you are right Claire and he will grow up to be a big boy. I truly have to thank everyone on this board for their prayers and support and helpful ideas when he was so sick a few weeks ago. I have a notebook with every idea and suggestion written down.

What amazes me is that he seems to suffer no ill affects of his scours except for the missing hair on his hind legs which is already starting to grow back.

Gerry from what I have found with mine, the resilience can be remarkable! My colt (by the way, he is the pic in my avatar at only 1 year old) had strangles and pnemonia at 2 months and was severely underweight and at 4 months he was rushed for herniated navel surgery and had to stay in his stall for a month. you would never know it by this pic ....lol. Still so glad all is well.

Gerry, when he grows into those big knees, he's going to be a big boy. I know he already thinks he is. :P My tiny ugly baby of 2004 in hindsight showed very wide knees like him at 6 wks of age, and she's now the biggest yearling in the pasture. Music Fest is on your right of Stage Center.

Try Slippery Elm Gruel, this will stop the runs in TB and people, you can purchase Silippery Elm powder at your herb shop.

Use a syringe or put it in your feed tub. 2OZ. AM 2OZ. PM
