sneezing can be alergic reaction to light, is it worse in light?

Kami, nope, the light doesn't set him off, he just shakes him head and sneezes like crazy

On the light thing, I take it your saying that total darkness does not cause him to stop. Head shaking has also been associated to light alergy.

I'm assuming the vet ruled out object or growths in the nasal cavity setting the sneezing off? W/out a growth or object, I tend to think of alergic reaction. I know our weed and mold just started rising (tree and grass polens have been up) in our area. Is there some new crop or industry in your area? COPD (heaves) horse owners have had luck in using Spirulina with their horses. If you read up on it, it has an effect to increase the imune system and suppress alergic reactions (I know you said you've ruled out light). I think they give 2gm/day. Not the cheapest way to get it, but it is sold at some walmarts and many healthfood stores.

Hope you figure it out, I bet the poor boy is more than tired of what ever is bothering him.

We moved him to another barn, the one he was in is older than the one he is in now,I'll read up on that spirulina, sounds like goos stuff. We also had some land clearing going on at the barn. Could be any or all of those factors, the good news is he has stopped and we have written down what almost killed him to not have it given to him again. He really is a good boy and a real tropper  Thanks for you help :)

maybe the paint saw the other one get an upgrade and wants one too.... okay, I know that's probably not the cause... horses wouldn't be smart enough to fake sneezing
