Any experiences with Legend?

We use the generic version of Adequan and it works just as well as the name brand at half the price. Legend is even more expensive. We do 1 shot 5ml 1x per week you can do it 2x if you like and then 1 shot 5ml 1x per month after that and they have it all year round. We like it and feel it works well.

Lube-all has the same ingredients and it is oral.... less expensive too.

I've given it to my horses and have personally taken several HA injection series for arthritic knees. I found no pain level change with my knees.

Zinn, how many injections, IV, and how far apart?

Tiz, the three times I had the HA procedure were four shot series given weekly. My left knee joint was very arthritic and really did not notice any pain improvement to speak of. I finally had the joint replaced in 2001 and have a marked improvement for that knee. I am scheduled for right knee joint replacement on 12-14-07. One of the three HA procedures was for that knee and again experienced no significant pain improvement. Last spring the knee was so bad that I scheduled surgery for June and had the Dr. inject the knee with cortisone. That injection really helped and postponed the surgery to now.

zinn21, have you tried Lubrisyn. Taken orally. My wife and mother in law think it is a miracle cure. You can tell if its working in about a week. They take about a Tbs. daily and chase it with a liquid. It has saved my mother in law from hip replacement. She was using a walker and cane and now she walks as good as I do. Sure beats surgery.

Larry, my personal experience is if your joint is shot, it's shot and nothing other than replacement will give you recognizabele relief. I can see, perhaps if your joint is borderline some of the lubricants could help but once bone contacts bone the party is over..

I second the Lubrisyn! Use it on me, my dog and my horses... tastes like spunk, but works great!
A "round" of weekly Adequan for 4 consecutive weeks is also useful. Polyglycan is a newer-ish product it also works great.

Actually the correct spelling is Aflutop. It's an adequan substitute designed for humans. Four bucks a pop at steroid/bodybuilding sites..
