Had a foal Sunday night who was very weak and colicky foal Monday morning. Gave him a tiny dose of Banamine and a tube of Foal Response paste and he was absolutely fine. 100% like a normal foal.
Foal Response is bovine colostrum with added probiotics (which I believe would've made the difference.) This colt got the mare's first milk but there was obviously something else going on as well.
The stuff sells for $10-12/tube and is available at many online retailers, just Google it. First time I have ever used it and am I impressed!
HUGE thumbs-up for Foal Response

HUGE thumbs-up for Foal Response
I haven't used Foal Response but will get a tube and keep it on hand. What we do use on every foal is Equine Coli Endotox. It needs to be administered within the first 12 hours. It is an excellent product. The price has gone up to $21 a tube but it is well worth it.
