Tendon repair surgery

Has anyone hear about a new surgery technique to repair tendons?? A friend told me abi out a technigue that cuts the sheath and tendon in parrell lines and is suppose to have very f good results..

I've tried google and can not find any ythinbg on this subject and will appreciate all the help i can get finding info/literatureon this surgery

Hi Griff! Not sure if this is kind of what you are talking about, but The Horse had an article called "New Surgical Treatment for Suspensory Injury." Hope this helps a little.

the section on tendon spliting technique is exactly what I was looking for.. Trainer in SC says it works better than anything he has ever seen
