ive got a mare that has been dripping milk like crazy for 3 days now, i shouldnt say dripping i mean a steady flow. Shouldnt this be some kind of indication of foaling soon. ive had them drip before but usually within hours of foaling. Should i be worried about her colustrum levels?

Hi Brooke,
we've had them to the point of streaming, and they still won't give up that baby! Has she started the classic signs yet?

I've seen mares run milk for up to two weeks before foaling. If she continues to run milk I would definitely want some colostrum on hand to give to the foal.

she has been showing every sign known in the books for about 2 days now! Im about to loose my temper with her  she's right at day 359 wish she'd give it up already. Wonder if i could walk it outa her like they did me in the hospital.
