2010 colt by Tiznow out of G City Gal. Is this a fashion bred or non fashion bred. There are only 2 instances of so called in-breeding in this pedigree one is on the dam's side and the other is on the sires side. Ill be interested to know what you all think.

The colt shows 5X5X5 inbreeding to Northern Dancer and as such is not considered to be a Fashion Bred, that is if Louis follows his rules, but because it is Northern Dancer he might think otherwise.

Are these the correct definitions of Fashion Breds?

A type 1 Fashion Bred must have 3 or more inbreedings to Phalaris line stallions or mares.

A type 2 Fashion Bred has 3 or more inbreedings to Phalaris line stallions or mares and one or more inbreedings to Non-Phalaris line stallions or mares.

A type 4 FB has 8 inbreedings to non PH stallions... but mares don't cont.

Dead stop. He can only do it if he knows the name. The idea of using the mare's produce record is too much. That is known as a clue, Louis.

G City Gal is Inbred 4 X 5 Sir Gaylord---5 X 5 Turn-to---5 X 5 Somethingroyal mare =Prince NP outcross.
GCG has 11 NP mares in her 5th generation & plus for soundness

Sir Gaylord is outside the curve of unsoundness, as he has prolific crosses of NP individuals.

Tiznow is Inbred 4 X 4 ND---5 X 5 Natalma. TN has 11 crosses of NP stallions & 10 crosses of NP mares in his 5th generation, that brings soundnesss into this mating.

G City Gal has 1 cross ND in her 4th, & 1 cross Natalma in her 5th.
Will those prolific crosses of NP in this mating, overide the inbreeding to ND & Natalma? We will wait & see how this mating plays out.
