Out here in the Land-o-Short, Fat Horses we unintentionally tested that - it did NOT work!

A friend got a 3 yr old filly into the track from a layup. They galloped her for a few months, then started breezing her. 3/8ths almost killed her. She stopped a bit before she got 1/4 in. They scoped her, they had the vet go over every inch of her legs. They tried again, and again - no luck. Then, one day, someone noticed her lip tattoo - 4 numbers followed by a letter. UH OH!! Turned out the van driver screwed up, badly, and delivered them a very nice QH mare who was supposed to be getting embryos flushed. Non despcript, unraced TB filly had had 2 or 3 embryos flushed and implanted by high powered QH stallions while the nice QH mare was being "tortured: trying to work 3/8s... Trainer laughs about it now, don;t know if the owners can laugh yet!
