Hi,
We purchased our second thoroughbred mare today.
She looks to be well bred but was wondering what others though of her pedigree?

Thank you.

Hi Alison,
From the standpoint of racing or breeding to race, her pedigree would not be considered impressive (based upon the stats for her sire, dam & damsire). Judging from your web site you're showing halter and performance, and breeding for general use ("all around"), so conformation, soundness, temperament and trainability would be more important considerations, anyway.
Noticed your inquiry elsewhere re. Seaflee. Apart from JC (Equineline) and AQHA records, about the only other source for info re. his mares would be the HBSB, which I checked and didn't find any record of him - sorry.

Thank you. Not sure what I am going to do with her at the moment aside from feed her. My daughter is enamored with her and plans to train her for HUS/english in the future. I have been told Buckpasser is a good bloodline for HUS type breeding.
Thank you also for the information on Seaflee.
Appreciate you taking the time to look for me.
