I am looking at a yearling who is 3 x 3 Mr Propector (sire 3 back on sire line, dam 3 back through her maternal line) and then 4 x 4 Danzig (sire's mare line and dam's sire line). I am not a huge pedigree fanatic, more of a "catalog page and conformation" fanatic, but this pattern intrigues me and I welcome any and all input from you Pedigree Gurus.
Thanks in advance!!!
Curious about a specific inbreeding

In the final analysis, the inbreeding really doesn't matter if you are looking at her as a racehorse prospect. The only thing that matters is, 'can she run'. Your 'expertise' as a catalogue and conformation person will give you much better information about that than will a pedigree analysis. Her inbreeding is more of a consideration only if you are thinking of her as a broodmare prospect down the road, but even then, her ability to race is far more important.
Having said that, I have a filly that is 3x3 to Mr. P and 4x4 Boldnesian. She is an incredible athlete, but I'm having serious doubts that she will ever race. The dressage people are hoping for me to make that decision sooner rather than later. The yearling you are looking at is a completely different individual and consequently my experience with this type of inbreeding really doesn't matter if the individual you are looking at inherited 'plough horse' genes.
