While it may be sacrilegious to say so, Dosage is a waste of time. Its fundamental flaw is that it is more concerned with juggling names in a pedigree to make them fit a formula, rather than acknowledging genetics and how inheritance works.

Along with the smart assed answers take this into account as well.

On the colts category page it says dam, she won X G1 races.
His brother won Y G1 races and sold for $2,000,000 as a yearling.
Does this mean the colt is going to win Z G1 races, err no it just means people will pay more for it because in their mind the believe it will.

Also Beyer speed figures, stupid numbers after the event to justify a race.
Apart from horses like Zenyatta who his system doesn't fit around.

All these numbers and statistics are there as a guide and are not gospel make your own mind up through experience and using professional help were available, if you can ignore the snipers and we know better attitudes on forums like this thats half the battle.
