296 starters
134 winners
7 stakes winners
1 G1SW.

As good a stallion as he was, it seems inbreeding to him is not nearly effective.

Our database lists five horses inbred to him 2x3 or 3x3. Only one runner according to these stats.

The czech's in the male.
Give the Pope and the King of England a horse and in thirty days, they'll be stealing halters.

Thanks for the responses. After reading this article I was curious to hear some thoughts. I appreciate the stats.

What is the primary bloodline that's been infused outside of SW? Are their any sons of El Prado with Mr. Prospector or AP Indy then crossed to a son of SW who's in Europe? I'd be really curious to see what external influences are present.

Concerning nicks www.galopp-sieger.de again offers an excellent overview:

As far as I can see, there is no distinct pattern, he has great progeny with mares from any sire-line.

Parlo, has anyone in Germany done Sadler's Wells x a Waldrun family mare? That's FF5-h x FF5-h, albeit very far apart. I just found some, but they are Irish. The mare is Waldmark, and she produced Sadler's Mark and Wallace Saddie to Sadler's Wells, Masked Marvel to Montjeu, Gifted Icon to a Nureyev son, Peintre Celebre, and Waldlerche to Monsun. Most have been auctioned as yearlings for fancy prices and sold again as 3 yos for way less money. None of them have set the world on fire on the track. They keep trying, though.

Is using Rough Shod or Dalmary or Simons Shoes for doubling with Sadler's Wells a decent scenario? The nicking people won't catch it, of course. :) I did find El Condor Pasa with Nureyev in the sire lines, tail female to Rough Shod and damsire Sadler's Wells. And his son here, also Rough Shod tail female:

Festival Hall is out of a Thong daughter and by Sadler's Wells.

Sadler's Wells to Goody Two Shoes works much, much better.

All horses of some importance are listed in the chart I linked above ( www.galopp-sieger.de ). I don't actually know if and how many horses with the nick you want are in the pipeline.
