breeding question

Just got a horse named Okatie (by Grub out of Swing into Action). I have about $3K to spend on breeding and I live in the New England area. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be a good cross?

I would consider Senor Conquistador

Senor Conquistador would make an interesting cross on your mare and he is in Massachusetts. It would give you a 3x3 cross on Mr. Prospector and a 4x4 cross on Never Bend. He has sired some nice runners including 2004 New England Horse of the Year Senor Ladd. Speaking of Senor Ladd he has a half brother standing in Maine by Belong to Me. If you are considering shipping to New York there are some nice stallions to consider.

Hi;I would be nervous about a 3x3 cross to Mr. Prospector-----Raise a Native.Fast horses but does produce unsoundness---front leg problems I think.Moderation----a little is good----too much---- not so good.Just my opinion.Marg
