Ditto that. Gerry, are you retiring him or do you plan on offering him at stud? The sport people might be interested. I've a personal interest in his female family  and that's stout blood he's carrying. And thank you VERY much to picking him up.

Maybe some one should got to Norcrest Farms and check up on him, and take photo's to post. So we can all see how well he is doing. and make sur e that he is in good hands once and for all. Poor horse.

Thanks everyone! He will be occupying the stall the Cefis had when he was here..it will be nice to have it filled again.

After we evaluate him weight wise we will make the decision about standing him to outside mares this year. The plan as it stands is to breed at least 2 of my personal mares to him..they are late foaling mares so it gives him time to settle in but plans are subject to change  if he's up to it.

Great Gerry, keep us posted. How are you going to manage the breeding issues if he has no papers?

I think since he has been legally sold each time they should be able to get the papers from the JC. although I'm SURE there will be a fee... :D

Naturally. ;)

Glad to hear he's got a home. I'm kinda glad there's a lil opportunity for him to get some blood back out there. Gotta say I agree with Sam's take. He could help firm up some of what's out there. That full brother of his sure held up--45 starts. Family of Sweetsouthersaint...if he's not just jumping into pumping out the foals (you obviously are on top of doing this carefully) you could get the benefits of that blood without putting loads of unwanted offspring all over the place.

Dunny is home! He needs some weight but he's not nearly as bad as I had expected. As soon as he came off the trailer and realized that there were girls around he starting singing and prancing. I think he will be fine :D

Jenny I know you are new here but I can assure you he has a loving home and will not end up in a dangerous situation again. You are welcome to stop over and see him or any of my stallions at our time

El Camino--thank you so very very much for all your help. It was great to meet you!

Consider yourself hugged. Can't wait for the pics. May he net you a couple of really nice foals successful in whatever endeavour they are destined for.

Thanks Sam! I think I will take some in the morning so we can see the before and after. I am in love with him...nearly black with a white star and stripe...and a total gentleman.

I think he will throw some lovely foals.

Did anyone notice my post? I asked that she send pics so we could see him or that someone could go around there to check up on him!!! Just because I knew she was not the person everyone thought she was. At that time I also pm'd a few people here to warn them about her and it fell on def ears. Her horses were in poor condition when I was there several years ago, but in no way like they were in the pics after the rescue. I would have notified the SPCA if that was the case. I just figured that with her having more boarders that she had turned things around and has some $ coming in to look after the ones she had. I really hope Dunny is ok. Can anyone call the SPCA and find out. I have tried to call to get info but they just say they will call you back. Needless to say they have not. If anyone finds out anything let us all know. This whole thing is driving me crazy, I have lost so much sleep. I am going to have to invest in some Botox!!!! :(

OK - fill me in as to where this horse is now. I went to see his progeny, and he has a 2008 foal listed. Did someone get him away from Gerry before the stuff hit the fan? Thanks
