Stephen Got Even as a broodmare sire

Postby radrider » Tue Nov 04, 2008 11:55 pm

So I'm relatively new to the game and I'm looking at a mare for sale by Stephen Got Even out of Royal Exacta. The mare herself is young and has not be raced, but I'm thinking that with her bloodlines would make a nice broodmare prospect. Stephen Got Even has had success as a sire, siring Stevie Wonderboy and a g2 winning filly in 2008. The mare's mother won over 90,000 on the track and has three other winning foals. My question is based on this information, do you think that Stephen Got Even would be a quality broodmare sire for a person trying to spend a reasonable amount of money and would this mare be worth it?

Based on the current market conditions and the fact that the mare you are looking at is not currently in foal, I would have to believe that - pagewise - you could do better - for very little dollars - at Keeneland this week or next...

As for SGE as a BM sire my bet is agianst.

Sorry.
