Louis: Indyanne information

Postby Swaps1955 » Sun Dec 28, 2008 2:10 pm

Hi Louis,

Do you have any information about Indyanne, Jerry Hollendorfer's filly who broke down Saturday? The initial news was somewhat promising, but I wonder what has transpired since the early report.

Thanks so much,

Wendy

I wish her a speedy recovery.

Thanks so much! I've seen various postings from the news sources and just wondered what Louis had found out. He often has a more personal and up-to-date knowledge.

My favorite vet Dr. Vince Baker gave the positive update on Indyanne, Dr. Baker is a dedicated tough as hickory vet, he works long hours, & his father was also a vet.
I am always asking Vince ? about soft tissues, strenght of bone, bone density, Vince always has time for me & has broadned my knowledge of our Tb issues. When i talk to Vinve on Monday i will get an update on Indyanne condition. All the best Louis.

Dependent upon the injury and the need for the pool. Vince would likely send Indyanne to Chino. One of his associates does some work there and is a great guy as well, Dr. Scott He was a welcome face when I sent one to Chino. Vince is not a surgeon. He is the best, but he also refers to the best as well.
The Baker practice is heads above all else on the circuit.

Louis and Tucumcari,
Thanks so much for your very much appreciated postings. It is so encouraging to know that there are people, like yourselves, who care not only for the horses, but for those of us (non-track affiliated folks) who love them, too!

Indyanne

Postby Ponygirl » Wed Dec 31, 2008 11:55 am

Just wanted to clarify that she is trained by Greg Gilchrist not Hollendorfer. Greg has done a great job with this filly as well as picking her out at a sale in Florida.

I believe Dorf had one snap it up north in similar timing to Indyanne. There is lies the mixed chat.. methinks

Dorf is my mentor.. what's your point.
He had one go on the same day as Indyanne, different track. What's your issue? Horses are being hurt and euthanized.... I'm confused about your comment, frankly. Maybe Jerry should have a DVD. How to actually make a living and prosper with thoroughbreds. How to get before 4 am 365 days a year. How to enter. How to actually know what's going on with over 100 head at a time. Could be a series.

Tuc, the comedian Tim Conway has a well known series of videos about a character named Dorf. "Dorf on Golf," "Dorf on Fishing," etc. I don't think Heidilady meant any offense. She was just referring to the comedy series.
