I am glad that both are home safe and sound, and no doubt getting some TLC. I never got to see Lickety Lemon in person, but I have connections to the stallion, Uncle Abbie, who is closely related to Lemon Drop Kid. So, I watch "the Lemons" as I call them. I have to look via TV or the internet most of the time. I really liked your mare's name and kept a virtual eye on her. I will look forward to following her story.

And Lickety Lemon who is in-foal to More than Ready And about 2 months along. She went right from racing to the breeding shed so as you can see she still needs to put on some pounds. Glad you liked the name Bedouwia, as I named her myself :)

They are both beautiful mares. Of course, my favorite is already declared. You have so much to look forward to next year. Thanks for the pictures.

And the date is finally getting here.

Officer Cherrie is due in just over a week. I am so excited!!! Had her coggins pulled today so once the foal is born and a few weeks old they can head back to KY for her to be rebred. And who is the lucky stallion this time... Bernardini !!

Setting up the foal cam and will start mare watch now...

Best of luck with the foaling--and you know we'll need pictures of the new arrival. :)

Who will you be breeding Lickety Lemon to?

For SURE, I will post pictures!!! I am hoping for a bay filly :)

Lemon is booked to Pulpit though we did debate on Tapit for a bit. Lemon is not due until April so I still have a bit of a wait for the More Than ready foal out of her.

Well you will definitely get a bay (or a dark bay/brown) because Tiznow doesn't produce chestnuts. As for a filly, everyone seems to be having them this year. I'm hoping for 5 colts myself--so you're more than welcome to the fillies.

YAY, that is wonderful because I was really hoping to bot get a chestnut.

And that is a DEAL! You can have all colts this year and I will take the fillies. Knock, knock; You hear that up there sex determining gods... we have a deal made down here.

And still no foal yet. :o But we are getting closer, right. She is progressing anyway and is letting me fuss over her belly now and clean her udder. Come on my little Tizzy.

Well, well, well....

Officer Cherrie and Tiznow had a handsome bay colt with four white socks with a star and strip. He is just perfect. Welcome little Tizzy...

I know you were hoping for a filly but looking at that foal, I sure wouldn't complain.

Chrome to boot! good for you. She looks like she is a great mother as well. Glad it all went well and both mom and baby are healthy. :D
