Dr. Fager

Postby jrgators » Tue Aug 04, 2009 7:33 pm

I'm wanting to find a stallion that has Dr. Fager on the dam side, and not by a Mr. P line stallion. How would/could I go about finding something that detailed without searching thru 2 weeks of pedigree pages? Any suggestions?

BTW the Dr Fager has to be within the first 4 of the dam side of the stallion....I know there has to be a program of some type to help me. I'm trying G1 goldmine, and I can't make that work for me. More than likely operator error! LOL

If any of you guys have an idea how to find him, or who the stallion/stallions might be let me know please.

Thanks a lot!

Stallion Register lists the following as having Dr. Fager in the bms position. Obviously a few don't meet your requirements being tail-male to Mr. P.

Believe It Doctor Believe It Sleepy Hollow Horse Farm KY $350 1994
Conquista Fager Conquistador Cielo Barbara Charron FL Private
Galaxy North Star Alchemist Star Warfield Stud MO $750 2006
Love My M. D. Ogygian Legend Farm OK $1,000
Luhuk Forty Niner Haras La Quebrada ARG Private 1997
Quick Cut Storm Cat Stoneybrooke Farm KY $1,000 2000
Quiet American Fappiano Darley KY $15,000 1992

Also, the massive stallion directory that comes with a year's subscription to the Bloodhorse has a Cross-Index in the back and it has the following listed:

Forestry
Take Me Out

You're welcome. The more you research for your mares, the more you'll find tricks and shortcuts to find as much information as possible.

Has she had the foal, or just now in foal?

There's a really nice 5K claimer running at Mountaineer who's a daughter of Luhuk. There are not many of them around but I really, really like him as a broodmare sire. He's from the female family of Lammtarra.

Here is one if you can overlook the Mr. P, it is a very interesting pedigree.
Bet you can get a deal on him.

No, she had a late foal, and I gave her the year off.

Really partial to this mare. She's got a Lil's lad colt on her side that is to die for.

She's got a great female family, and her siblings are running well. I wish they'd come back to Oklahoma and get them some black type! But she's great, and I think she can do just about anything.

They suckling I've named Will E. B. Strong He's inbred female line, and I think he's the best looking foal I've ever had bar none!

There's a stallion standing in Iowa that I purchased for some clients several years ago. He's sired by Ogygian and out of a daughter of Secretariat; His 2nd dam is Ta Wee (a half sister to Dr. Fager) and his 3rd dam is naturally, the dam of Dr. Fager.
