Multiple stakes winner All Hail Stormy runs for $2,500 tag

Postby BargainBlueblood » Fri Oct 30, 2009 2:47 pm

Beulah Park, Nov. 3, game old multiple stakes winner entered at the bottom of the claiming ladder. Could be a good fit for Old Friends, maybe?

This is a longshot but if anyone wants to take up a collection I can run down Tues and get him and bring him home and find him a proper retirement or second career. Wonders never cease. PM with any ideas.

I'd donate to this. What about going to his connections and making an offer?

Beuhla is an hour from me and I have an extra stall here. So I could seriously get him. Anyone know who I could contact to find out about purchasing him outright before he runs. That would be a starting point to getting some donations to help him out. Also, if anyone wants to crosspost anywhere thats fine.

I tried to get on the alexbrown forum to cross post, but that website has changed drastically since I was on there months ago. I couldn't figure out how to even get into the forums. They always had a network of people who kept an eye on past stakes winners running for 5k or less. I'll contribute thru paypal if anyone can set it up legitimately.

Skipit, who owns him? That's who needs to be contacted.

I have no idea. I was offering a home if anyone wanted to try to help secure him. I know in the past a few horses have been secured by donation etc. I thought if I offered a home we could get him retired. If anyone knows how to go about this I am open to suggestions.

Hesitancy in discussing this publicly- however I did speak to the trainer yesterday to inquire about retirement of this gelding. Not interested at this time. If anyone knows the owner (and how to contact him), could you please email me privately. Thank you.
