Anyone know when the December condition book [#21] for Mountaineer is suppose to be published?

Griff I will find out for you ,however if you have a conditional horse going short he may get in a race by March as the non winners of two life have about 40 entries each time and it looks like they will not race in Jan and Feb anyway. Do yourself a favour and lay up until spring. You will have a fresh sound and happy horse. The track surface here is unforgiving and if you are in a late race on a dry night then he will be racing in 8 inches of sand as they do not water the track between races. I offered to drive the water truck but the stewards were not impressed.

Thanks Wilf but he's already had the last five months off.. Took some chips out of his ankle in late June and put him back in training in October.

Looking for a short ALWNW2[WV] for 3 YO and up or a NW2 or NW 3 short claiming race with a decent purse.. CTown has a 4 1/2 C $12,500 NW3 for WVBRED 3 YO & up on 12/31 but we loose our place in line in mid December. I think he is ready, or will be ready before then and wanted to see what Mountaineer has scheduled.

Also, I'd like to get in on that 135% bonus for WVBREDs before the end of the year as both geldings have been on R&R since June and the reserve is getting low.

Hey Griff do you mean that dates expire at CT? I would pull the papers and then put them back in to re-establish a new date. Maybe it's not that simple there though, I don't know.

My understanding is he goes to the back of the line after he has not raced for six months.. Your idea to pull his papers and p0ut them back is suer worth lookomng into.
Thanks

Mountaineer has published a december condition book but there's not much there for WVBREDs going short.

Maybe next month
