Mahubah let me just say whenever you write something on this site, it is well written and pure class. As usual what you say is true, thats her job now. I was just having fun with it and most farms have the same type of expert anlysis. Anne Peters, Alan Porter and many other experts are beholden to farms or advertisers. They have much more knowledge than me and I would love to listen to their advice......when they're drunk.

LOL! Although, would you really want to take advice given by someone who's three sheets to the wind? In wine, truth, they say, but that truth doesn't seem to come with too many wits attached....

Actually, I've had some personal contact with both Anne and Alan, and they're a lot of fun to swap ideas with cold sober. Though of course, I don't have any mares looking for a date, so no commercial pressure on either end. By the way, if you're interested in older pedigrees and haven't checked out http://www.tbheritage.com (that's the site Anne co-runs with Patricia Erigero), it's well worth some time. Lots of good information on key figures in the breed.

because someone cannot figure something out for themselves does not mean it is unsolvable. Clearly for someone that has figured out some significant clues they didn't come easy or cheap-----why then would someone give this information away for free.

80-90 % of the time anything is given away ....its useless or junk :wink:
