Postby ireneinwa » Mon Jun 28, 2010 12:18 pm

Correlation 1951 Horse by Free America out of Braydore. Does anyone have any info on him or his progeny? Where did he stand? Did he have any decent runners? He was a full sib to my mares 4th dam.
Thanks :D

I remember him as the BM sire of Good Behaving, a good runner back in the 70's. I could swear though that he was more important than that. For some reason I think of Hobeau. I would bet that, as a stallion, he was based in Florida.

Correlation's stakes-winning daughter Grand Splendor was a Florida bred out of Cequillo which was often bred to Florida stallions. Grand Splendor went on to be the 2nd dam of Fappiano, Ogygian; 3rd dam of Honour and Glory, etc...

Fappiano's dam, Killaloe, had nine lines of Barcaldine in her pedigree. His COI was over 10%. He had about 130 unique individuals in the 9th generation. Talk about inbreeding.
