This is good news.

I've addressed my concerns about this situation by email to the Executive Director of the Virginia Racing Commission. I'm also going to email Colonial Downs. For many years I've been aware that Bruno's horses that start in FL often end up in the claiming ranks in WV. It is not a stretch to say from personal knowledge that many end up in the rescue system also.

I hope those of you who are angered or concerned by this tragic episode will write, call, or email your state racing commissions and the racing secretaries of nearby tracks, to make them aware of BS.

Sad story.
The humans involved need to pay the price and for once the powers that be have a spine and do what is right. I pray others follow their lead as far as violations are concerned.

This is the time when Animal Rights People really need to come out of the Woodwork & keep pressure on Woodbine to start..

He really needs to be made an example of while the spotlight is on the situation.

Financial penalties will not deter him, he has the money to buy his way out of this crap.. he needs a ban on any ownership period, and across the board.

If everyone would band together they could force out Bruno just like they did to Gill.

Is Bruno Schickedanz any relation to Gustav Shickedanz, who has Marlang (trained by Neil Drysdale) running in the Sunset Handicap at Hollywood Park on Sunday? Unusual name for such a coincidence.
