Did they take down the photos or is it just me.

Just thinking it was going to be another gluey humid boring day in the Ohio valley and I click onto this paradise of photosensitivity and I am wide awake! Thanks Barbara for your time, would that I had been there on that morning when you framed that shot in the stall that resembled an antique oil painting of the Victorian era. I also wonder if the next shot was taken on the same morning with the muted moon in the distance? Thank you again and even though the grey champ was regally bred I still think that in boxing terms he "punched above his weight". RIP big fella!

What a beautiful tribute!

The picture taken in his stall looks like a Richard Stone Reeves painting.

Wonderful tribute. I remember when Two Punch started at stud standing at Blue Ridge Farm in VA. In his early days at stud his competition at the FT Mid-Atlantic Sales included another son of Mr. P, Fappiano. Very few believed back then that he would have been such a successful producer but after he moved to Northview his reputation took off. They really worked to market him and he became very popular. As Wilf indicated, Two Punch definitely bred well above his form as a racehorse.

Beautiful, beautiful tribute...he will be sorely missed. Your photos of Two Punch and Waquoit in the morning light are some of my all time favorites!

Thanks for the link. We are truly fortunate to have Barbara Livingston in our midst to take so many stunning photographs of the horses we love. She also seems to be tireless in her efforts to photograph so many horses, and then to revisit them over and over again throughout their lives. The Two Punch images, taken over many years, are really special.

And just like that his 3 yr old grey daughter won a Maiden Special Weight last night at Mountaineer.
