Shame on you and me BDW, they even helped us on tv by suggesting that the trifecta of boxing the red hot barns of chad brown and wesley ward would be a smart move.......what did it pay? $600 plus.

The turf mile winner paid $62 even though he won the french 2000 guineas 3 starts ago and the French horses always ship well .

There have been major upsets today, but the one I like the most is the filly trained by D. Wayne Lucas. All the "experts" keep writting him off.

I think the only horse I had was Judy The Beauty. Oh well. It was fun, until the last race.

I have to say the best performance was Lady Eli. She was something else. Goldencents was a close 2nd with his swan song.
Main Sequence is pretty cool too.
And, I really enjoyed seeing Work All Week win, I didn't have a clue about him, but upon looking him up he's pretty darn consistent.

Never been a Chrome convert but his run today was admirable. With another run under his belt he may have won it all. Credit to the horse as he came within a neck of it all and no Derby winner has won the Classic since Unbridled . 3yr old of the year no question.

Agreed Wilf, Chrome is now Champion 3 YO. The crazy thing is that UNTAPABLE may now become Horse of the Year!

And yeah, I might as well handed them my money without getting tickets today - could not cash a ticket.
A difference of opinion is what makes horse racing and missionaries.

I had to watch the Mile about 7 times because it really was a bizarre race. I thought Obviously was going to win it, he was going really fast. Then the winner made that crazy run, and the 2nd place horse was like a sling shot out of the pack. He probably would have won if he'd timed it better, he ran up on the heels of the winner, who swished his tail at him (thought that was funny). I don't know what to make of that race. It was weird.

I had $2 across the board on Work All Week. He saved my day, everything else was a bust.
