Fire Flight?
Anybody know whatever happened to him? A full brother to Paynter owned by Calumet Farm and trained by Lukas, he tried to break his maiden 4 times, dismal results as late as summer of age 3, and never heard from after that. Did he get retrained or did something happened? He's not at stud per Bloodhorse's Stallion Register.

Re: Fire Flight?
He probably had some sort of injury. This has happened to many horses that I was following. Trouble is, you often don't hear what has happened. I wish that we would hear what happens to some of these horses, but unless they are graded stakes winners, you usually don't.
A few years ago, I was high on a 2 year old colt named Boltzapper. After his 3rd race (a stakes race), he never raced again, and I never heard what happened to him. Boltzapper was a son of Barbaro's half brother.

In case anyone is interested, Boltzapper is a son of Holy Ground. Holy Ground is a son of Saint Ballado and La Ville Rouge. La Ville Rouge is the dam of Barbaro and also Nicanor, Lentenor, and Margano.
Holy Ground was a stakes winner and is now at stud in Argentina.
