Anybody like his chances to make a sire?

The professionals can answer that better, but I'd like to point out that he is from the 4-r family, which has become more prominent in the sire ranks lately. He's related to Dynaformer, via his second dam Andover Way.

Radio Star, a half brother to Dynaformer by Storm Cat, stood in New York, more on the basis of his pedigree than his race record. Unfortunately he died in an accident in 2003, so he had only two small crops, the first of whom are just hitting the tracks.

Offlee Wild has a lot more going for him!

Okay I'm resurrecting this just to see if anyone has more to say about him now that we're right on top of breeding season. I really like him :D I think he's going to be a nice useful sire and I did book a mare to him.

I really like his chances at stud (though I should admit I haven't seen him yet.) I wish I had a mare that would have suited him this year, but I didn't. For what it's worth, I seem to breed to something at Darley just about every year and they've been super to deal with.

Thanks for your input LSB! This will be my second year using Darley and I have found them upfront and helpful everytime I've asked a question about one of their stallion. I was told by them that Offlee Wild toes in slightly. I believe the words were along the lines of "He toes in slightly. Not much but its there." They also said he was he was pretty excited about breeding season after his test matings.

I like him as a first crop sire. Not a strong group of freshman this year. I booked a mare to him but would be nervous to do so beyond his first year.
