Go get em Bill!!
If Bill said he hit the Exacta at Tampa Bay, Then he hit it.
I attach great weight to whatever Bill has to say on this message board.
If you haven't bought his book, "Modern Conduit Mares" I recommend it.
I already have on order his newest on using conduit mare profiles. Really looking forward to reading it.
Regards, Shergar

Hello,
Thanks to all who offered their well wishes and encouragement.
Posted here are a series of emails that fit this thread. Although the race didn't develop as I anticipated, the results were pretty much right on.

Hi Bill, I read your message board, and all I see is (Bill, could you please, your thoughts on, could you please,)
I hate to bother you, especially at this time of the year,
but...... Rob'em Blind was not sold, he's still with the same owner, and he's running tomorrow at Aqueduct 8th race,
optional claimer $100,000, but no tag on him, it's 1 1/8m
the field in order is,
Napoleon TNT,CMP=8-3-2-6-8 sp=11 stam=14 index=0.88
triads=13-11-16
Scots Pine,cmp=8-4-1-7-7 sp=12 stam=14 index=0.95
triads=13-12-15
Dontfearthereaper,cmp=6-4-1-6-9 sp=10 stam=15 index=0.68 triads=11-11-16
Dr.Zippett, cmp=10-1-11-2-5- sp=11 stam=7 index=1.39
triads=22-14-18
Men's Club, cmp=6-7-5-9-2 sp=13 stam=11 index=1.33
triads=18-21-16
Rob'em Blind,cmp=11-2-5-6-3 sp-=13 stam=9 index=1.71
triads=18-13-14
Marco's Tale, cmp=6-6-5-4-5 sp=12 stam=9 index=1.21
triads=17-15-14
Church Service, cmp=6-6-3-9-4 sp=12 stam=13 index=1.05
triads=15-18-16
Chief Speed, cmp=8-5-5-5-6 sp=13 stam=11 index=1.18
triads=18-15-16
How does Rob'em Blind stack up 1 1/8m
I won't bother you for a month, please Rich
Hi Rich
I'm sorry to be so late in getting back to you, but I have been away from the computer attending to other business. Rob'em Blind should be able to get the distance, and I expect he will be on or near the pace. This may be a very contentious race for him, with a couple of his competitors with strong profiles for this distance. He should be in the money, if he doesn't win. I hope you get this on time. The top four, IMO, would be Rob'em Blind, Dontfearthereaper, Scanlon Song, and Marco's Tale, with Men's Club worth considering.
Bill
Thanks Bill,
Yes I got it on time, no straight bet, hit the exacta and the triple, they didn't have a super. I'm just so happy and proud
of this guy, he's so honest, can you beleave he went off at 10-1, doesn't anyone see what I see, and you, you see it too.
I took your advice, keyed 5/267box exacta $20. than $2 tri
5/267/267 267/5/267 267/267/5 $276.inv. $808. ret.
I just don't like Men's Club, but in a super, I would have used him. Thanks again, hope you got onboard, I'll be ordering both of your books, thanks Rich

My Dear Mr. Bill from WA,
Once again you give us a winner AFTER the race has been run. Come on Bill, show us some of the guts you dad displayed fighting for Pershing, place your picks before the race. As you had a four race Stakes card this last Saturday and had plenty of time to place your bets and didn't, one can only reckon a lack of intestinal fortitude.
Any day, any time, we'll have a handicapping contest. For guts and the very few...

You name it {doubt you will}, any day, any time we'll have a handicapping contest. I'd love to put your system to shame.

In the past Bill has posted race picks on his website. Yes, In Advance of the races too!!
I have used Bills conduit mare profiles in making a few wagers. I find it quite effective in betting maiden sprints, turf races, (esp. turf routes) and races where several horses are doing something for the first time.

This is just a reminder that while it's OK to disagree with someone, it is not OK to do so in an attacking manner... let's keep it civil, please.
If you don't like a particular system, don't use it. There's really no reason to attack those who do believe in the system and who have success using it.

Very good Roguelet, I appreciate your intercession here and will henceforth remain civil.
So, at this time I put forth a handicap challenged to Mr. Bill from WA. You make the terms. Should you choose to accept the challenge I will only require a day or two advance noticed to do the handicapping.

I apologize for my curt tone in the last post. As I am very busy right now, lets put things off until Kentucky Derby time when we can both make our selections public. I have to point out that this isn't a "system", but just a tool to help establish optimum racing distances for thoroughbreds, and is best used as an adjunct to a good basic handicapping regimen.
Thank you Roguelet for stepping in, I was starting to get a little out of line.

Really Whirlaway, whats the problem? You have lots to offer this board and have plenty of ideas which even though they seem a little "out in left field" have still managed to stimulate plenty of debate from several viewpoints and often result in side threads. Do not foul up by resorting to a sportsbar blowhard style, those are a dime a dozen. After your picks the other day I never revelled in your weak performance even though you cracked a $78 tri, you gave us 5 horses in one race. Obviously you fancy yourself as a handicapping ace, well more power to you but leave out the trash talk and give us something we can run with again.Tell us how Derek stacks up against Ron and the merits of the racing in Ca, Fl,NY and Oaklawn, thats all I want to read.
Actually, I don't really know why Whirlaway is still here.. in another thread I believe he/she said something to the effect of "AS a group I am surprised at how little most of you know." I believe he/she finds our company unworthy or not stimulating. As for the challenges, save them for the schoolyard.
You GO BILL!
