I own the stallion Willionaire, out of Will's Way. I was wondering what your thoughts are on Will's Way as a stallion?

I'm biased as I'm a fan of Will's Way and would like to see his sons get a decent opportunity at stud so this is just my opinion. Will's Way hasn't gotten a great opportunity at even when he was at Brookdale ie... that they didn't really advertise or promote him. He did occassionally get some nicely bred mares as some people went to him for a specific reason like the people who bred his Woodlawn Stakes winner Gang. Inspite of this some of his offspring have good families behind them like Willionaire and they show that quality.
I think that in time Will's sons could do well in small market places much like the sons of Easy Goer are doing now. So like Larrygene said Will's Way probably will never be a sire of sires but his some of his sons should do just as he has, produce racehorses of all kinds. Willionaire could probably pull duty as a sporthorse sire as well, Will's Way has a few sons and daughters that are being used as event, hunter and dressage horses continuing Easy Goer's influence in that area as well. Okay I'm finished with my spiel. Do you have any pictures that you could post, I'd love to see him.

There is a picture of him on my Av, my photobuckt site is acting up so as of this moment I can't post a big picture of him. Will try again as soon as I can. I plan to stand him in east Texas as a sport horse stud, but not until next year. Right now he is in Dressage training with my Grand Prix trainer then we shall move to eventing. I don't plan on showing him very high in jumping but would like to get him out so the eventing ppl can see him. I really plan on just showing him in dressage. Showing at the high levels of eventing AND dressage is left up the my TB gelding Rich Bid. I sometimes whish he was a stallion too. *lol* Then again Im a big fan of stallions, they are always my favs to train, they never make my job boring thats for sure. *LOL*

Wow, he looks so much like his sire, he's a good looking boy. I would love it if you would keep me updated on his progress and I'll try to post updates on Will's Way other eventing and dressage offspring as I find it.

He's so loving, I miss him and Rich while Im working up here in Wyoming. If all goes right he should be in a few shows this season, we'll see. I'll keep you posted.
