Keith,
Thanks for your suggestions!
I thought about Slew City Slew for Thunder Reason but I think if I go the Slew route, I like the bottom on Doneraile Court and Chief Seattle better. Slew City Slew is the most proven of the 3 and is probably one of the best values out there.
Maybe I am thinking about it wrong, but I looked at several of your other choices for my other mare Pleasant Laur. Gilded Time would bring in sex-balanced inbreeding to Damascus and Grey Flight. It apprears that many of his foals are not correct.
Powerscourt and Medaglia D'oro bring in Be Faithful who Pleasant Laur tails to. Powerscourt has a real European bottom and Medaglia D'oro is above my price range. I am leaning toward Artie Schiller for her. He has El Prado on top and some interesting crosses with Pleasant Laur on the bottom - Ribot, Nantallah, etc.
Does anybody have an opinion on Artie Schiller as a sire? His bottom tends to throw better females and El Prado is still an unknown as a sire of sires.

Alphabet Soup's stud fee?

I thought Alphabet Soup was $15,000 this year. Has he dropped to $10,000?
