Minardi as a stallion
Out of his first two crops he has yet to produce a superstar but his GSV number is high (74) he was recently sold to an New Zealand breeder does anyone have any of his offspring or any thoughts onhowhe might dogoing forward?
My mare is Julie's Gem, by Judge Smells out of the SW mare, Conga Miss, by Dewan. I had perhaps different motives, I have my stallion, Rocking Trick. I really like Julie's Gem for Rocking Trick and the fact that she came with a Minardi in the oven was a bonus (I was at a small cataloged sale).
Without knowing more about your mare, I can't comment on the matchup. Minardi's stud fee was $5K here. Pricewise, if you figure on just a cost basis, $7K for your yearling.. of course selling prices for horses are rarely, if ever, based on cost.

So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....
